Direct debit service is worth choosing because it is:
- Timely and reliable money management. You do not have to wait for your clients to pay for the services provided to them. On receipt of a debit instruction, the bank will transfer the money withdrawn from clients’ accounts to your account on the same day.
- Regular notifications. The bank will inform you electronically about the withdrawals performed.
- Convenience for your clients. The direct debit service offers advantages both to you and your clients: they will no longer need to think about payment of their bills. Furthermore, direct debit is free for your clients.
How the direct debit service works?
Danske Bankas, having received an electronic debit order, debits the amounts specified by your company to your clients’ bank or payment card accounts opened in Danske Bankas and transfers the money to your company’s account:
- on the same bank working day, if the direct debit order is presented by 11:00 a.m.
- the next bank working day, if the direct debit order is presented after 11:00 a.m.
Money is debited from a client’s account only after receiving the client’s agreement to use the direct debit service.
Direct debit service does not cost your clients anything. Clients can sign agreements for direct debit in any department of Danske Bankas or via the Danske eBank (PDF instruction).
