Currency Option

Currency Option is an agreement entitling but not obligating the client to purchase or sell a specified amount in a foreign currency for another currency at the exchange rate agreed as of the date of the transaction, setting a settlement date which is later than after two banking days.

This operation enables the company to insure future currency flows against currency exchange rate fluctuations, limiting potential losses and giving an opportunity of gaining in case of favourable currency exchange rate fluctuations.
