Clients who visit Danske Bankas spend considerably less time queuing than people at any other Lithuanian banks providing traditional banking services.
According to the latest data of the comparative study of the banking sector conducted by Spect-Dive, of all the banks providing traditional banking services in Lithuania, clients spend less time in queues at Danske Bankas. The average waiting time at Danske Bankas is 48 seconds.
According to Jūratė Nedzinskienė, head of the Personal Banking Unit of Danske Bankas, The flow of clients is monitored on a regular basis, and any changes are considered very quickly. Of course, clients have to wait a bit longer to be served at the branches that are located in busy sites such as Akropolis shopping mall. However, such branches also have more employees. We pay special attention to rush hours in order to ensure that queues of clients do not have to wait to be served by just one or two bank employees.
Representatives of Lithuanias only specialised secret customer service company, Spect-Dive, visited twelve Lithuanian banks. One of the aspects of their study was to establish how much time a client has to spend in a queue. The average waiting time for the entire banking service market is 4 minutes and 37 seconds, and the longest waiting time recorded in one of the banks was half an hour.
At the end of last year, Danske Bankas on its own initiative surveyed the clients exiting its branches. It was established during the survey that as many as 30 percent of the clients were not Danske Bankas clients, yet they visited the branches to pay various fees, exchange currency, etc. The main reason for that was the absence of queues.
