- Type of priority of the international payment order: it can be standard, urgent or very urgent. If the priority is not specified, it will be considered to be a standard payment order;
- The beneficiary’s bank SWIFT BIC (for payment orders in RUB, UAH and BYR– digital codes of the banks). If you fail to specify the beneficiary’s bank SWIFT BIC, the bank may deduct an additional charge specified in the pricelist of the bank for manual processing of the payment order (if you are ordering a transfer of USD to the USA, instead of the SWIFT code you may specify the national clearing code ABA/ Routing No.(FW). The bank code consists of 9 digits). This charge is not applied to payment orders in RUB, UAH and BYR;
- The beneficiary’s account number and name. When making a transfer to countries of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Community (EEC), the beneficiary’s account IBAN (International Bank Account Number) must be quoted;
- Payment purpose (not more than 140 characters);
- Who pays for processing international payment orders? The following options are available:
- SHA charges mean that the sender will pay the Danske Bankas charges for the international payment order and the beneficiary will pay the charges of the foreign bank.
- OUR charges mean that the sender will pay all the charges for the international payment order, i.e., both Danske Bankas charges and the foreign bank charges. In this case the beneficiary receives the entire amount of the transfer (charges of other banks may be deducted from the amount transferred, if the international payment order is processed in US dollars). Danske Bankas reserves the right to charge you in addition for OUR payment order.
- BEN charges mean that the beneficiary will pay all the charges for the international payment order, i.e., both Danske Bankas charges and the foreign bank charges that will be deducted from the amount transferred, therefore the beneficiary receives the amount transferred less charges.
When completing an international payment order, it is not necessary to specify the correspondent bank of the beneficiary’s bank. Danske Bankas will select an optimal correspondent bank of the beneficiary’s bank, but if the client specifies the correspondent bank, Danske Bankas will process the payment order according to the client’s request. If the correspondent bank is specified incorrectly, foreign banks may return the amount transferred or charge in addition for the payment order, therefore the money may not reach the beneficiary on time. When specifying the correspondent bank of the beneficiary’s bank, the SWIFT BIC of the beneficiary’s bank must be specified. In the event of failure to specify the SWIFT BIC of the beneficiary’s bank, Danske Bankas bank may deduct an additional charge as specified in the pricelist of the bank for manual processing of the payment order.
